CD Sunday Challenge - Colour

Good morning all you lovely crafty people, don't know where the time is going but it's yet another Sunday so we're here with another challenge.

Yet again we have several things to get through so please be patient and I'll get to the challenge as quickly as I can.

Thank you all so much for the entries last week, not the easiest of subjects but you rose to the challenge and we loved visiting your blogs and looking at your creations, once again we had several entries that didn't include anything from a cd so we haven't been able to enter those into the draw.

Now onto the draw, once again I have enlisted the services of the only other person in the house so if it's you who have won say a thank you to David cos he pulled out your number.  And the winner is:

Number 13 - Yes Pinky that's you so come on down and claim your prize, which is a £20 voucher to spend in our very generous sponsors shop The Art of Craft.

Last week we mentioned we were looking for guest designers and thank you if you applied, we are still deciding the finer points so we will be in touch very soon, so watch this space.

Now onto this weeks challenge, as you can see from the header it's all about colour but not just any colour. This week we want you to use Blue, Yellow and Brown, yes I know not the most obvious of choices but when you see what the design team have done you will see it can be an amazing combination, I do hope you can join us again this week.

We still have the lovely Beryl with us and once again she has spoiled us and given us two totally different projects, I'm sure you'll love them.

I do hope you like what the team have done for you this week and we've inspired you to play with some colour, please remember to use something from a cd and link back here with your entry. Also if possible please take off the word verification, if you make sure that you approve the post you don't need it and it does make our lives a bit easier when leaving you a comment.

CD Sunday Challenge - Luck of the Irish!/St Patrick's Day

Good morning everyone hope things are well in your part of the world!  We have quite a bit going on today so take a seat and let's go.

Firstly I want to say thank you to everyone who joined in last week, not so many, so you don't like all of our challenges but we're onto another so hopefully you will enjoy this one and as it is a sponsored one there is a lovely prize to go with it this week.

This week we are sponsored by Art of Craft, and there is a great prize of a £20 voucher to spend on anything from the shop.

Guest Designers

We need you this week, if you fancy being a guest with us here at CD Sunday then please get in touch, we have chosen our guests up to May but are now looking for more willling folks to join in with us and be part of the team for a month. All it will involve is that you make at least two cards per month, of course we would pefer it if you could manage every week of the month you are doing but we know life gets in the way of crafting at times. The email address is at the top of the blog and we are very good at answering people (well Christine is) so come on down and join us, we love company. Of course you could always just add a comment at the bottom to let us know you are interested and we'll get back to you.

March's Guest

This month we have the lovely Beryl from Beryl's Place and she has been good to us this week and given us two cards, both of them are fabby so I do hope you will pop over and visit her and leave her a bit of love.

Luck of The Irish!/St Patrick's Day
Now onto the theme for this week, with St Patricks day being so close we decided that now is a good time to do a suitable card, not everyone is into sending cards for this occasion so we thought that the theme should be something Irish, now we all know the saying 'luck of the Irish' so thought we'd go with this.  Our team has had some fun with this one and hopefully you will too, so it's over to you and we are really looking forward to seeing what you come up with, you could go with the whole St Patrick theme, or maybe something Irish or even just send a bit of luck. Just remember to include something from a cd or you won't be eligible for the draw, and most importantly - have fun.

CD Sunday Challenge - Art Nouveau

Hello everyone and how are you this lovely Sunday morning, we were blown away by your fabulous creations last week so thank you for taking the time and effort to join us.

Well February has certainly flown by and we are on our last week with our first guest for this year,  Janet has done some super things for us and hopefully she will be back later in the year if we can persuade her.

We have really enjoyed having Janet as a guest and hopefully you have too, thanks for everything Janet  and watch for the email!  Join us next week when we have a new guest joining us to show what she can do.

Now onto the challenge for this week, we have decided to go easy on you all again and give you a great challenge, this week we are using

ART NOUVEAU

Now the usual rules will apply, use a little something from a cd or do the whole thing with a cd, we don't mind as long there is a cd in there somewhere.  Our design team have had a great time thinking up things to set you going, so do get those cd's out of their cases and have a play.
