CD Sunday - Someone Special

Good morning all and welcome to a new month at CD Sunday, I am so glad to see you joining us and hopefully we will give you lots of inspiration to help you to join in with us as we celebrate - Someone Special. Just a little heads up for all of our regulars, we will be celebrating our 1st birthday this month and will have a little extra to give away on our birthday week so keep watching! As we are into a new month we have a new guest, now we have had some pretty talented people joining us but I think you will be truly amazed when you see what our guest this month has done for us, so with out more ado let me introduce to you :

Here's what Claire has to say about herself:

I'm so pleased to be joining the team at CD Sunday this month, partly because the ladies on the DT are such a lovely bunch but also because its given me chance to revisit my collection of cds. When I first got in to crafting I used to love using cds for my projects. Over the years I've got more into stamping and my poor cds have been gathering dust so its been great to check them out and use them with some stamping techniques that I've learned more recently.. I don't think I have a particular style as I love so many different aspects of papercrafting from colouring digistamps to making inky backgrounds and brayering. I usually have a few projects started in my untidy little craft room and tend to flit from one style to another. I work full time for a mental health charity but spend most of my free time crafting, usually making cards but I do enjoy jewellery making and particularly working with silver clay. I have a lovely hubby who is very understanding about my crafty addiction, a 21 year old son, 2 dogs (who are usually covered in glitter) and a very noisy parrot.

Claire has joined us for this month and as I have already seen what she has done for this challenge I can assure you that you are going to love her take on our theme.

I want to say a quick thank you to everyone who joined us last week, we all loved visiting you and the standard of work was truly fab, I do hope you will all manage to join in with us again this week.

Now as it is the first sunday of the month we do have a sponsor and this month it is:

All of the DT have used one of the images so generously provided this week and I'm sure you will see there are some stunning cards made from these so I'm sure you will want to be in with the chance to get 4 sheets of digi images.

As usual we will start with our guest designer and hope that we will inspire you to pick up your papers and cd's and get creating.

CD Sunday - Transport

Good morning all, we’ve made it through another busy week and we’re back with another challenge. Last week you seemed to enjoy our theme and we saw some lovely entries so thank you.

This week we are saying goodbye and thank you to our guest Beryl, I can’t believe she has been with us for a month but we have enjoyed having her as a guest and hopefully you have all enjoyed her gorgeous designs. I do hope that we can persuade her to do it again before too long.

Now onto this week’s challenge, last week we all had the same sort of idea but this week our cards are all very different so hopefully you will find at least one that has you reaching for your cd’s.

This week our theme is

Transport

As usual you can do anything you like as long as something comes from a cd, so please join us and we are looking forward to visiting you and seeing what gems you come up with.

CD Sunday Challenge - Wild Thing

Good morning all, it's Sunday morning and we're all raring to go with our cards ready to inspire you to join us.

Thank you once again for joining us last week, we really enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing the fabulous things you have entered into our challenge, you did us proud and as I was off line for most of the week due to a poorly pc it was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning.

Now onto this week, well as you will see from the DT's cards we all went for the same type of thing but I was so tempted to do something a little bit different so watch this space as you may well see another card of an entirely different type popping up during the week.  Our theme this week is:
WILD THING

We don't mind how you interpret the theme but please use a little something from a cd or we won't be able to leave a lovely comment on your blog.  Hope you like what the team have done for you this week, and we still have our lovely house guest Beryl with us and as you can imagine she has come up trumps again.
