CD Sunday - Stamping

Good morning all and welcome to another CD Sunday challenge. I really can't believe we are into May and time for another challenge with a great sponsor, this month we are being sponsored by Digi's With Attitude

We also have a new guest designer this month and I am so very happy to introduce you to Jen from Timeout Crafting
We have been so lucky with our guests and I know you will be blown away by the things that Jen has produced for us.
Here is a little of what Jen is all about in her own words:

I live in Reading with my partner John, our children are grown up now. I was a teacher of Maths and Special Needs before I retired. I loved my job but am now enjoying retirement very very much. I have always crafted in one form or another. Crochet, knitting, sewing and needlepoint. I started paper crafting about 8 years ago. I love scrapbooking and I also make cards which I sell for charity. I have an obsession for beautiful papers which I am forcing myself to use not just look at. CDs are great as if you find a favourite paper you get to use it and still have it! I like stamping and am now brave enough to stamp on an almost complete scrapbook page!  Getting inky and experimenting is great fun and I like to try new things, envelope albums and felting being the latest want to dos. Since being introduced to the world of blogging by my friend Janet I have enjoyed getting involved in challenges and am delighted to have been asked to join such a talented bunch of crafters as guest designer this month. Thank you.

So now we are onto the challenge which this week is stamping, yes I know we are a CD challenge blog but we all love to use our rubber and inks to make something unique to us.  We are normally saying use something from a cd and this still stands but you could just use a stamped sentiment with everything else from a cd and your entry will be fine.

Our DT have had a ball this week and have used images from new stamps, old stamps and much loved stamps to make a bunch of cards to inspire you to get out your rubber and join us this week.

CD Sunday - Butterflies

We have a winner!

You lot did your best to give us a hard time and we did have to have a voting system so it was totally fair. One person got 5 votes out of 6 so that bit was easy.  For the runner up we had three people on 4 votes each and as we all had a different choice we asked Claire our guest designer for the month to cast the deciding vote, so now we have two lucky and talented people.

Our first choice is for this fabulous book card from Kevin

Our second choice is for this pretty blue card from Misty's Mum

Thank you to everyone for making our birthday special and the two winners if you get in touch through the email at the top of the page I will make sure your prizes get to you as soon as possible.

Good morning and a very Happy Easter to you all.

Wow what can I say about all your entries last week, the team have been blown away by your cards and can tell you it's going to be hard to choose a winner and runner up, crazy idea we should have had a draw! lol

We have decided that as we know we won't be agreeing straight away and will have to discuss the result we will let everyone know by Wednesday so please bear with us. If you have joined us for the first time this week we do hope you will come back again and to our regular followers thank you for being there each week.

As usual please use something from a CD on your entry.

We have had a few people once again putting in entries which don't follow our few simple rules  so they cannot be entered into our monthly draws.

This is our last week with Claire being our guest designer, I have already extracted a promise that she will come back and join us again later in the year. Thank you Claire for your wonderful designs you have been a very popular and inspirational guest.

Now onto this weeks challenge, another nice and easy one for you, it's butterflies. We have all enjoyed ourselves making the samples and hopefully it will give you a bit of inspiration to join in with us.
