CD Sunday - Only Ovals

Last Week's Top Three

OK folks I nearly forgot I promised you the results of the top three from last week,  Christine has given me a hard time as you were all so good she kept changing her mind. Anyway she has at last come to a decision and her top three are as follows:

1st place goes to Sue, who was number 3 last week
2nd place goes to Jocelyn who was number 8 last week
3rd place goes to Caroline who was number 13 last week.

Now ladies please collect our top three logo and display it on your blogs and Sue, Christine has a little bit of something for you so watch out for the postman.
------------------------------

Good morning all and welcome to a very busy CD Sunday, we were so pleased with both how many of you joined us last week and the quality of the work produced.

As you know this week we are introducing something new to us which is a top three chosen by one of the design team, this week it is the turn of Christine and she is agonising over her choice as we speak.  You have given her a hard task but she has promised me that I will be in a position to post  her choices on Tuesday as promised. Now Christine has been so impressed with the quality of the things she has seen this week she has donated a little something for her number 1 so not only will you be able to display the top three badge on your blog but you will be getting a little something falling through your letterbox in the coming week.

We are also looking at who has won our sponsor prize and this is still being drawn by Random.org so it's completely seperate to the top three. This week the number of the winner is no 2:

Yay Chris JW this time it's you!

I think you know what to do but just in case, drop us a line and we'll get your cd to you. Sorry to all you who didn't win but we have a special sponsor next month so make sure you all come back for that one, it's a prize well worth winning. Just in case you are wondering I did include the emailed in cards, I added you onto the list at the end so better luck next time.

Ok so now we are onto this week's challenge, we want you to go with the theme only ovals. As usual we are happy for you to make anything but the one condition is to use something from a cd, we still get entries from people who haven't taken notice of the rules and if there is a prize involved then it wouldn't be fair to include those that don't follow our simple rules.

We still have the lovely Debs with us and this week she will start us off with something very pretty, so here we go.
Paper Flower Boutique - Debbee's CD's
Jenny
Seraphina Through the Ages - Doolicraft
Tess

RHS CD by Joanna Sheen
Carol
Ooh La La 'Shoes in Bloom'
Wendy P
Debbi Moore Glitter & Glitz Paris
Wendy M
Joanna Sheen - Times Gone By
Christine
Peerless Designs Vol3 - Floral Elegance

Wow that is a lot of talk this week so hopefully you are still with us and raring to go, so all I need to say is we are looking forward to seeing what you create and remember the cd's.

CD Sunday - Buttons

Hi all and welcome to a brand new challenge, we loved your entries last week and that got us to thinking we should start having a top three. So from this week on a Tuesday pop back here and we'll announce the top three winners from the previous week.

This week we want you to use buttons and as you will see the design team have been very lucky as we are being sponsored by Katy Sue Designs and we have been given a copy of the cd to play with. We had great fun and all the cards are different, the prize on offer this week is a copy of the cd Grandma's Button Box.

Last week we said goodbye for now to Chris and this week we welcome a new guest, now some of you may know this lady and even used some of her cd's. This month our guest designer is Debs from Debbees cd's and this is what Debs tells us about herself

Hi there, I am Debs.  First of all can I just say how thrilled I am to be invited to be a guest designer at CD Sunday... it is such a fantastic blog and sooooo much inspiration, I am over the moon to be involved!
Quick bit about me... leaving out all the boring bits! LOL  I am married with two kids, a boy of almost 21 and a girl of 11, I also have two very stupid cats who try very hard to be part of everything I do....  most of my cards have to be checked thoroughly for stray ginger or black hairs before I send them out!!
I am self employed, in the craft industry (concerning a subject matter close to this blogs heart!!!), and I work from home, with the help of my puddy cats....  I have to be very disciplined, becasue I keep getting sidetracked by blogs, and facebook... seemed a good idea at the time to get a farm.. now it rules my life! :-)
I love all things crafting, and I have crafted in one form or another for as long as I can remember... often with laughable results, but never mind!  You should see my efforts at knitting.....  I can happily knit a three mile long scarf, but never ask me to knit round a corner!!   My passion at the moment is stamping.. and pro markers... obviously combined with backing papers from CD's!!
In my spare time (what actually is that??) I try to relax with parchment, or a book, being with my friends and family or by dressing up as a bee and being silly!
I hope you like my cards! xx

So now we're onto what we are really all here for and that is the cards designed to help inspire you to create something lovely and maybe you will be the one to win the cd or maybe even be chosen by one of the team as one of their top three.
Debs
Christine

Jenny

Tess
Carol

Wendy P
Wendy M

All the above are done using Grandma's Button Box cd by Katy Sue Designs.

Now it's up to you, you can make anything you like as long as you use something from a cd somewhere within your creation.

Email entry
As you all know we accept email entries from those of you who don't have blogs or have problems getting your link onto the blog.  This one is from Mary and she has used one of Debbee's cd's which seems appropriate as Debs is our guest this month.

We've got another email entry for you all to see, this one is from Julia and she too doesn't have a blog. As you can all see Julia has used the From me to You cd to make her card, it's beautiful don't you think?

CD Sunday - Bling it Up!

Hi all, I think summer has arrived, for a few days at least as it's absolutely beautiful here and the wind has dropped so we can sit out well into the evening.

We did enjoy your input into the challenges and even though it was a bit of a struggle for some of you, you worked your magic and produced some stunning work. Thanks a lot we do appreciate it.

Sadly this week is the last week for our lovely guest designer Chris, she has given us some lovely cards to look at and this week is no exception. Thanks for joining us Chris and hopefully you will be up for doing it again in the future.  Look out for a new guest next week and we have a very special sponsor so watch this space, you could win a lovely cd.

OK onto this week and we have decided to chose the theme Bling it Up, now we all love to use our glitter and gems so I don't think it should be a problem for any of you, I know the team have had a ball and all the projects are very different to each other. I do hope you can join us and give us something to oooh and aaah over the next week.

We will start as usual with our lovely guest Chris.
