CD Sunday - Trees

Paisley - Top Three

Well even though we didn't have lots of entries for this challenge you still gave Christine a headache, not least because she had to go to a friends house to use the internet as her system is down.
She tells me that she was impressed with all the entries and it was a hard choice but make a choice she must and these are the winners.
1st TRISH
2nd TESS
3rd COLLEEN
Well done Trish your first time entering our challenges and you make it to number one in the top three, Christine has a little something for you that will be in the post on Wednesday. Hope you keep entering as we were all impressed with your entry.
Please take out top three banner and display it on your blogs.
Trees challenge is below

Good Sunday morning to you all, welcome to another CD Sunday challenge. Is it just me or do these Sundays come around quicker each week? before we know it Christmas will have been and gone and we'll be wondering why we got so stressed, but for now here's to another challenge.
This week our challenge is such an easy one, we do like to spoil you sometimes so we have chosen trees as our theme.

I do hope you like it a little better than our paisley fun challenge last week which quite a few of you didn't think was fun at all. I love trees and know so many of you feel the same so I am hoping for a great turn out this week.

We still have our fabulous guest with us this week and once again she will start the ball rolling with her take on the theme, so if you're ready here we go:

Good morning to you all and welcome to another challenge from us here at CD Sunday, this week we are using a very old pattern in the shape of paisley.

Before we show you the teams ideas I'd like to thank everyone for joining in with us last week for our sponsored challenge of sunsets, there are so many ideas out there and all of your cards were stunning it's a pity you can't all win. As usual I have been over to Random.org and the number generated is number 2, so take a look and if that is your number then come on down and claim your prize. This week we only need your email address as once you have chosen your digi package Caroline will email it to you.  I know you're going to love playing Meg so pop over to Caroline's blog and get choosing your prize.

We still have our latest guest Sue with us and as you would expect from someone so talented she has produced another stunner so we will start with her creation.

Sunset Challenge Below
Good morning all, what a busy week I've had but such fun. I've spent two days with friends in Birmingham visiting the NEC, so I've come home shattered and skint but happy. I managed to buy a few more cd's to add to my collection so hopefully I'll be ringing the changes with the future challenges.

Last week our challenge of Puss Cats was quite a popular choice and we loved seeing your fabulous creations so thank you for your continued support. It's my turn this week to choose the top three so I hope I won't struggle too much but I've changed my mind several times already so watch this space.

It's time for us to introduce a new guest designer for this month and as usual we are going to be spoilt with the things that she will be doing for us, this month we have Sue from Sue's Crafty Corner  Sue has been entering our challenges on a regular basis and we love what she does so do pop over and have a look at her blog I'm sure you'll be suitably impressed. Here is what Sue has to say about herself;

Hi my name is Sue, and I live in a small town on the North Hampshire/Berkshire border, with my
wonderful hubby Steve, my son Martin and our patterdale terrier Jed. I also have a daughter Vicky who lives with her partner nearby.

I have been crafting one way or another for most of my life. I found card making and paper crafts
about 10 years ago, and now it is the craft that I do the most. Closely followed by my embroidery machine and knitting machine.

Over the last ten years I have managed to collect a vast amount of CDs (some I’m sure I’ve never
used but just had to have at the time). About 3-4 years ago I found someone’s blog quite by accident, and started blog hopping, admiring all the beautiful creations that crafters were making and sharing.
Last year I took the plunge and started one of my own. I found the CD Sunday challenge blog at the beginning of the year, and with the exception of when I am away on holiday, I manage to take part each week. Who knows I might just get to use all of those CDs I have.

Ok now we are onto this weeks challenge which is sponsored by Caroline of  CaroLines Digistamps

The design team have had one of Caroline's digi kits to play with and I have to say that I was quite impressed by the amount in them so will be going over and buying some more, the Christmas ones are so pretty and just that bit different that I think I'll get a lot of use out of them.  The prize this week is a digi image of your own choice.

This what the team have come up with and if you're not impressed then I'll be surprised, we will start as usual with our guest.

I think you will have to agree that these samples are lovely and all thanks to the beautiful kit supplied by Caroline, I hope you will join in with us this week and you could be the one to win something from this very talented lady.  As usual we only ask that you use something from a cd and as you can see from the samples it can be something small. Please also note that if you want to be included into the draw then we need your entries in by 1pm on Saturday. Thank you.
