CD Sunday challenge - Fifties fun

Things with Whiskers Top Three

Hi everyone and as it's Tuesday it's time to announce the top three for Things with Whiskers, Carol has done the choosing this week and you did make it difficult for her. Her choice is as follows and she has a little something for the winner so we will need a quick email with your address so she can get it off to you.
 1st - 17 - Misty's Mum
2nd - 4 - Michelle JM
3rd - 24 - Janet van Rosen

The current challenge is below.

Good morning one and all and welcome to the final challenge of the year, once again we are running this challenge for two weeks but come January you are back to weekly so don't start slacking.
You blew us away last week with your whiskery entries and boy am I glad it's not me choosing the top three cos I couldn't and I'd want everyone to win. Yes I know that's not possible but you are so good you are all winners anyway.

Now we have a little prize to give away, our winner last week was pleased to have been chosen but because of Christmas post her prize will probably be with her after the event but something for her to look forward to, and now we have another winner to hopefully make happy this week. Once again I have been over to Random.org and have been given the number 13 so not such an unlucky number.

Emma that is one of your numbers so please drop us an email at the address at the top of the page and give us your details and a copy of the cd will be winging it's way to you as soon as I can manage it.
Now onto this fortnights challenge, our DT have had some fun with this one and more than one of them have given me multiple items to share with you so without any further messing around here is the line up for this challenge.

CD Sunday Challenge - Things with Whiskers

Things With Whiskers - Week 2

As promised last week the team have had a bit of time to have a look at the cd and have a little play, we have enjoyed making some lovely cards for you to enjoy.
The winner of this weeks cd as chosen by Randon.org is number 16
Yes Hazel that's you, please drop us a line on the email at the top of the page and I'll get your prize out to you.
This number will be taken out of the draw for next week but all others will stay in and if you enter another card that will go in too.

Jocelyn has chosen her top three from the On Safari challenge and the honours this week go to:

5. Janet Van Rossen
16. Hazel L
17. Linby
There is a little something for you Janet so get in touch and claim your prize.

Now at the start of the current challenge I promised you a cd for the winner but as we are running the challenge over two weeks we have decided that there will be two draws, one on Sunday this week and then another one at the end of the challenge. So if you have been over to the web site of Elegant Inspiration and had a look and fancy getting your mitts on a copy without having the shell out any of your hard earned cash then come and join us. all entries will go into both draws apart from the winner of the first week.
*******************************************

Good morning everyone and it's another Sunday but also another month so that means another sponsored challenge. This month we are sponsored by Elegant Inspiration, a new company with some great ideas and their new cd is proof of this. Not only are there lovely images to inspire you but there are cutting files for use with electronic cutting machines or to print and cut by hand.

Jo has given us a cd for the prize so get your thinking caps on and join us so you too could win a copy, the design team have been given a copy each but the cd's didn't get to all of the team members in time for them to do anything this week but because December is such a busy month for everyone, our challenges will be running for two weeks so we will all have something more to show you from the cd next week.

We have a new guest designer with us this month and we have the lovely Beryl who has agreed to stay with us for January too so you will get to know her quite well I think. To start her stay off with us she has written a small bio which I know you will all be interested in reading so here we go.

Hi, I am Beryl and live in the beautiful Shetland Islands, the most northerly part of the UK, in the summer we experience the most wonderful white nights , but this time of the year our days are really short. I am English and married to Robert who is Scottish, between us we have 6 children and 11 grandchildren. I have been crafting in one way or another most of my life, the usual stuff knitting, sewing, crochet. In 2000 I got my first computer and it came with a greetings card programme installed on it, and I had a play and have never bought a greetings card since. Admittedly, looking back they were a bit naff lol.

About 8 years I was bored picked up the Sky remote and did some channel hopping. I landed on Create and Craft, it had only just been launched. I watched a man from the English Stamp Company turn a dirty grey looking powder into something magical and that was it - I was hooked. By watching on a regular basis I discovered the many different ways of cardmaking, including cds. At first I wasn't too keen on cd crafting, it felt a bit like cheating, then I realised it was a wonderful resource and now I have cds all over the place, some I haven't even taken out of the packaging. I have been blogging for a few years now and enjoy taking part in various challenges. I have been taking part in CD Sunday since about March/April, and was thrilled when Christine contacted me and asked if I would like to be GD. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
I hope our efforts over the next two weeks will inspire you both to join us and to go and look at the cd, it's fab. We will start as usual with our guest and as Beryl already had a copy of the cd she has been able to use it to make her contribution.

CD Sunday - On Safari

TOP THREE TREES

Here I am again and I'm a day late, so very sorry can I just blame it on old age as I seem to be forgetting lots of things at the moment.
Anyway onto the top three for the trees challenge, this week it is Weny P's turn to choose her favourites and she has decided that her top three are as follows
Jenny Pearson (3)
Ann Whitfield (11)
Trish (17)

Now Wendy does have a little something for our top spot so if you can send us your snail mail then she can get your prize off to you. Well done Jen another winner.

Good morning all, these Sundays are coming around far too quickly for my liking but one good thing is that it means we can open up a new challenge for you.

You all seemed to like last weeks challenge and oh my what a fabulous choice for the top three, glad it's not me choosing this week or it would be me up all night backwards and forwards cos there are so many I loved last week.

This week is the last week for our lovely guest Sue, she has been a fabulous guest with some great ideas so I'm sure you'll agree with me that she will be more than welcome if she wants to come back and do it all again next year.

This week we are going on safari and once again the design team have been busy, look out for Carol's card as it did make me smile when I saw it, a novel take on the theme.

I hope you can join us and maybe even get one of those dreaded men's cards out of the way as it is an ideal theme for the gents. We will start as usual with our guest Sue
