CD Sunday - Best of British

Hello again to you all, Jocelyn has been busy choosing her top three from last weeks Seaside Treasures challenge and she has chosen the following:

Janet Van Rossen - No. 8
Michelle JM - No. 3
Seafield Jo - No. 5

Jo has a small prize for the winner so Janet you'll be getting a little something from her in the post before too long.

Good morning to all our lovely challenge followers and those just visiting, I hope everyone has managed to stay safe and not got too wet over the last week.  I do hope you all won't be too busy now the children have finished school as we love your input into our blog each week.

Last week we played with the idea of the seaside but in truth not many of us would have had the chance to get to one unless we didn't mind being very wet, so hopefully our challenge lifted your spirits and this week is designed to do the same thing. This week we want you to think about the best of british, now this means so many things to us all so hopefully with our teams help you will be inspired to have a go. I almost forgot to say this weeks theme was chosen by one of our newer members Caz so I do hope you will support her first challenge choice for this blog.

I would also like to say hope you're feeling a bit better Carol,  for those of you who don't know Carol fell and broke her arm very badly. She had an operation on Wednesday so hope it went well and please join us in wishing her a speedy recovery.

We still have our lovely guest Claire, I do have to admit to being a little bit envious of her talent but don't tell her!

CD Sunday - Seaside Treasures

Sketch Top Three
Hi all, I'm here again to bring you last weeks top three, I have been and opened every page and skipped between them all to make sure I had seen every one and well the one I have chosen as my winner is one that made me smile.

1. Ali Wade
2. Michelle JM
3. Janet

Ali I have a little something for you so please email us at the address at the top of the page with your address and I'll get it off to you.  Well done everyone and thank you for brightening our days with your creations.

Good morning all, I hope everyone is alright after all this terrible weather we have been having. The sun is shining as I type this but the clouds are looming so I'm guessing more rain is going to follow soon.

We have some news for you this week so I'd better get on with it, over the last couple of months we have had Sue with us as guest designer, well the team and others have been very impressed with the things that Sue does so we have asked her if she'd like to stay on as a permanent member and I'm happy to say she said yes.  Now what a lot of you won't know is that Sue is my sister and because of that I'm a bit biased towards her but it wasn't me who suggested she join us and I am glad that the rest of the team saw how she will be an asset to us and to you.

So now we have a new member but no guest so this month the very talented Claire is joining us as a guest, if any of you haven't been over to Claire's blog then I suggest you do so, she is a marvel with her designs and what she can do with inks, paints and pastels needs to be seen, you will love the card she has produced for this weeks challenge.

Now onto this weeks challenge but first thank you all so much for last weeks entries, I will be going back to have another look through to choose my top three in the next couple of days.

This week it's Jocelyn who has chosen the theme and as it is meant to be summer she has chosen Seaside Treasures, we have had a bit of fun with this and even though the weather may be rubbish it helps to dream and remember the sunny days at the beach.

Just a very quick appology from our wandering team member Christine who is off again this weekend, she has been so busy preparing for her trip she hasn't finished her card but has promised that she will have it on her blog on Monday when she returns and I will add it in here too.

OK so now this week we will start our cards with Claire who has taken the theme and done something anyone would be proud of.
