CD Sunday - 8th Birthday Celebration - with special prizes.

Welcome to CD Sunday. A special welcome to our regulars - and to those who haven’t visited us before.  We hope you all join in and if you like us – come back. We don’t bite and all you need are craft CDs and/or a CD based and fed Graphics Programmes.
We have a double celebration for this challenge  as I have hijacked the Blog's 8th Birthday celebration on the 18th April  (with the team’s blessing) to choose the theme and add my own celebration of my 75th Birthday on the 21st.
You’ve guessed - the theme is ‘Birthday’ and we have a sketch here for you to follow which I have designed.
Here is the Sketch:
Here - in no special order - are the ideas from the team:

I think these are all fabulous cards and hope that they will give the inspiration to enter and perhaps win one of our fabulous prizes. We have some Facebook entries - see below prizes.
Prize No: 1
Brand new set of Chameleon pens donated by Carol
Prize No: 2
Tonic Studio Essentials Ribbon & Bow Layering Die Set donated by Pamela
                            Facebook entry from Eric Rush

Beverley Hassell really likes the sketch as she has submitted 6 great cards via Facebook for the challenge and here they are.

The prize winning cards will be chosen by the team as a whole so the result may not be announced until 13th May to allow us time to consult.
…..Please remember all about using CD’s as is now clarified in the side bar and please also don’t forget that if you have won a prize you have to claim it. Please include your name and address in your email.
If you don’t have a Blog you may still enter by sending your entry via email using the address shown in the right hand sidebar or by posting a photo of your entry to the new Facebook page -  The CD Sunday Challenge.  Please add your photo as a reply to today’s current challenge announcement otherwise not all of the Design Team may be able to see it and… pretty please… remember to tell us which CD you have used.   And above all have fun.

CD Sunday - mid challenge post for Top 3 - 'Rabbit,Rabbit'

Good Morning everyone.   As promised here is our mid challenge posting to give you the Top 3 for the last challenge which was ‘Rabbit,Rabbit was chosen by Pamela.
It was lovely having so many entries for my Rabbit, Rabbit theme. I really, really struggled to pick just 3 cards from so many outstanding cards.
Here they are:
1st-   Hazel
I picked this as my winner because I love the pretty country scene. The backing paper also picks out the colours in the main image and the blue edging brings it all together.

2nd – Ann Dolan – Facebook entry
I just love all these cute bunnies enjoying their tea party!
3rd- Linby
Another beautiful country scene with all those naughty rabbits appearing after the humans have walked past.

Congratulations Hazel. Please contact us at cdsunday@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Ann and Linby grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.
We will now see you next week for the new challenge and the week after that for Meg’s Top 3 for the current challenge – ‘No patterned paper’.
Don’t forget to click here for the ideas and inspirations from the team on the current challenge and Mr. Linky of course for your entries.
