CD Sunday - mid challenge post for latest Top 3 – ‘Art Deco’ - chosen by Margaret

Good Morning everyone. Here as promised (and on time) is our mid challenge posting to give you the Top 3 for the last challenge which was ‘Art Deco’ and was chosen by Margaret.

Margaret has asked me to thank all who entered and say that all the cards were of such a high standard that it was difficult to choose a winner and she wishes that you could all have won.

Here is the Top 3:

 1st - Didos (Hazel)
I thought this was a stunning christmas card

2nd – Linby - card No: 1
I did like this card - a real art deco design and very well presented

3rd – Lisa – card No: 1
A stylish card well designed,  I did love the colours

Congratulations Dido. Please contact us at cdsunday@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Linby and Lisa the appropriate logo from the side bar. We will now see you again on the 10th June for the new challenge Don’t forget to click here for the ideas and inspirations from the team on the current challenge and Mr. Linky of course for your entries.

CD Sunday - 'Beautiful Blooms' - chosen by Jocelyn

Before we talk about this weekend and our new challenge I have a confession to make. I am afraid that there has been a '???' on the Admin front (leave you to fill in the word) and the posting last weekend of Wynn's Top 3 wasn't done. So - very, very late - as promised here is  the Top 3 for the last but one  challenge which was 'Anything Goes'  and was chosen by Wynn.

"So many lovely entries has made this very difficult to judge. After lots of visits to your blogs I have made my decision."

Here it is:
1st - Jan Hodson (Facebook entry)

I loved the tonal colour palette and the layout. Lots of interest had been created with the stunning design.
2nd - Lisa (wishcraft)

Now I’m a ‘sucker’ for anything different and this hidden message design ticked all the boxes. The image is adorable too.
 3rd - Pauline

I loved all the interest created by the different layers of designer papers and the colour palette. The image of the Robin is stunning too.

Congratulations Jan. Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Lisa and Pauline grab  the appropriate logos from the side bar. Don't forget Jan to send in your address with your claim.

My sincere apologies to the Top 3 and to Wynn and now onto the new challenge.

Good Morning and welcome to another challenge with CD Sunday. This time the theme is 'Beautiful Blooms' -  which has been chosen by Jocelyn.   I think that this is the  perfect time  for this challenge especially as the blooms and blossoms seem to have been extra special this year.

Thank you for joining in with Margaret and her Art Deco challenge and we will be posting her Top 3 on 3rd June (fingers crossed).

Now we would like to show you the team’s ideas on ‘Beautiful Blooms’ - starting with Jocelyn of course and here they are:

CD Sunday - 'Art Deco' - chosen by Margaret

Good Morning and welcome to another challenge with CD Sunday. This time the theme is Art Deco which has been chosen by Margaret.  I think that Art Deco is always a popular theme and so we hope to see many of you joining in with some beautiful creations. There are many Art Deco CD Roms out there so no excuses.
Thank you for joining in with Wynn and her ‘Anything Goes’ challenge and we will be posting her Top 3 on 20th May.
As well as starting off Margaret’s challenge today we are also announcing the winners of our Birthday Challenge.  You’ll have to imagine the trumpet chords I put in here…..

And the winner is…. Lisa Bird with her 'West Highland Terriers'

And in 2nd place is …….Beverley Hassell with her 'Trumpeter'

Well done to you both.  Your prizes will be sent out to you as soon as possible. We just need you to do the usual claim with your addresses via the Blog email.
The team were blown away by the number of entries especially via Facebook. We really hope that you will all continue to join in our challenges.  It was so gratifying to see so many lovely and varied cards even though the sketch was the same for all.

Now we would like to show you the team’s ideas on Art Deco – starting with Margaret:
