CD Sunday Challenge #8 - our 9th Birthday - theme - 'Birthdays' - using a CD somewhere.

Welcome to Challenge #8 – our 9th Birthday Challenge and it will be no surprise that our theme is ‘Birthdays’.
Just before we talk more about our Birthday here is Jocelyn’s Top 3 for Challenge #6 – ‘Anything Goes’ - which she hosted:

1st – Lisa Bird
Today's handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge
I like the layout of this one with such a cute image and the subtle use of black card works really well. We had two lovely entries from Lisa but I think this one is my favourite by a whisker.
2nd – Grandma Margaret
A fun image for all the boys in our lives. I like the music score background.
3rd –Twisted Witch Lin

This is a great project with lots going on. A lot of work has gone into this one.

Back to our Birthday.
As we said a couple of weeks ago the team have been saving their pennies and we will be awarding lovely prizes to the team’s favourite entries - each of whom will receive a voucher to spend with the craft supplier of their choice.  The team will all be involved in the choices and we are looking forward to receiving – we hope – a bumper entry.

We are thrilled that Pamela has joined us for this challenge and the whole team is here for the Birthday.

Here then are the ideas from the team for our 9th Birthday:

CD Sunday - #6 - 'Anything Goes' - hosted by Jocelyn

Welcome to Challenge #6 – ‘Anything Goes’   hosted by Jocelyn.
I think I spoke to soon two weeks ago when I spoke about Spring being on its way. We have had far too much of ‘The March wind doth blow’ since then. Finishing that quote doesn’t bear thinking about – so I won’t. (Before any purists point out that the correct words are 'The North wind doth blow',  I have used the words we used to use as children).
Thank you to those who have entered our #5 challenge  and Margaret will be back in a couple of weeks to let us know her Top 3.
In the meantime here is Wynn’s Top 3 for #4

1st No: 3– Yvonne Krijgsman
There is so much detail on this card. Love all the 3D work and the snow covered house is so cute.

2nd No:   4 – Tip Top
A truly fun card and a great sentiment. This is one to make you smile.

3rd No:   7 – Lisa Bird
This a very pretty card and a new CD to me. A great layout with lots of  interest created with the added elements.

Thank you for joining in with the challenge.  We hope you will feel inspired by the following examples from the team and enter our new challenge - #6 - hosted by Jocelyn.
Here now are those examples – starting with Jocelyn:
