 I think the school holidays combined with a week of very hot weather and a Bank Holiday has stopped people from crafting! At least I hope that’s the only reason we had so few entries for the last challenge. With only 9 entries picking a Top Three shouldn’t take Jo very long!

CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #184 hosted by Jo

Tomorrow, Monday 25^th May, is a Bank Holiday and in some areas of the UK also the half term school holidays. That usually means we’re in for bad weather and a lot of rain. But not this week! The country is bracing itself for a heat wave! I give it two days before people start saying ‘it’s too hot’ LOL!

This card shows how a digital kit can be used to great effect. I also like the stitched edge and black gems.

This is beautifully coloured and the backing paper torn to make a frame really sets of the main image. 

3^rd No:3 Bonnie Lynn.

I always admire how Bonnie Lynn combines digital images to make such pretty cards and ATCs.

CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #183 hosted by Meg.

 I’ve had a really enjoyable crafting session today. I needed to make a card for a swap and the theme was ‘New Beginnings’. I had an idea in my head of how I wanted the card to look and it turned out better than I expected! Don’t you just love this hobby of ours? I celebrated with a takeaway meal of fried chicken and chips and now I’m stuffed LOL!

Such pretty colours on this card and great colouring technique.

I like the soft colours of this one and the wood effect backing paper compliments it perfectly.

A lovely image that captures springtime and I really like the addition of gingham ribbon.
