CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #184 hosted by Jo

Tomorrow, Monday 25th May, is a Bank Holiday and in some areas of the UK also the half term school holidays. That usually means we’re in for bad weather and a lot of rain. But not this week! The country is bracing itself for a heat wave! I give it two days before people start saying ‘it’s too hot’ LOL!
Before we show you the team’s contributions to the current challenge, here is the Top 3 for Challenge #182- chosen by me, Pamela:

1st No:11 Helen:

This card shows how a digital kit can be used to great effect. I also like the stitched edge and black gems.

2nd No:5 Chris.

This is beautifully coloured and the backing paper torn to make a frame really sets of the main image.

3rd No:3 Bonnie Lynn.

I always admire how Bonnie Lynn combines digital images to make such pretty cards and ATCs.

Congratulations to our winners and please don’t forget to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.

On to the current challenge #184 and as always it is an Anything Goes Challenge, as long as either a CD, USB or digital download - or any combination thereof – has been used in the making of your project and there must have been a physical item made.  Please remember to state the source. Also please remember that only 3 entries per challenge are permitted.

And now here are the ideas from the team starting with Jo:

Pamela:

Meg:

Remember to tell us which CD, USB or Digital source that you have used - and please remember that our Privacy Policy Statement is now in our Sidebar.

Please also remember that although we are accepting and using digital images there must have been a physical item made using those images. e.g. a card, a scrapbook page, a craft item or suchlike.  All as per our Rule 3 in the sidebar.

We look forward to seeing your creative makes over the next two weeks.

CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #183 hosted by Meg.

I’ve had a really enjoyable crafting session today. I needed to make a card for a swap and the theme was ‘New Beginnings’. I had an idea in my head of how I wanted the card to look and it turned out better than I expected! Don’t you just love this hobby of ours? I celebrated with a takeaway meal of fried chicken and chips and now I’m stuffed LOL!
Before we show you the team’s contributions to the current challenge, here is the Top 3 for Challenge #181- chosen by Jocelyn:

1st No:5 Pam’s Pearls.

Such pretty colours on this card and great colouring technique.

2nd No:3 Eve.

I like the soft colours of this one and the wood effect backing paper compliments it perfectly.

3rd No:4 Shaz.

A lovely image that captures springtime and I really like the addition of gingham ribbon.

Congratulations to our winners and please don’t forget to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.

 3rd No:3 Eve.

I love the style of this card, the very cute image and the lovely bright colours used.
