CD Sunday - HOT HOT HOT - chosen by Jocelyn

Good Morning everyone.  We’ve had a Summer Vacation challenge so far to celebrate the warmer weather but we are now turning up the heat with Jocelyn’s choice of 'HOT' 'HOT' 'HOT'.  Just on  a personal note here I must say that I think the team have come up with some beauties to inspire you all.
Before we show those creations thank you to all who entered Margaret’s ‘Let’s Shape it up’ challenge.  Margaret's  first challenge as a team member and thank you for the great support you have given her.   (Top 3 announcement in a couple of weeks).
Now here is the current Top 3 from Wynn who had Fab ’n’ Feminine as her challenge.

"Well what a lovely set of Fab 'an' Feminine cards you created. It's been difficult choosing my Top Three but here goes".

    1.  Linby
There were two cards on Linby's blog but it's her top one that ticks all the boxes for this challenge. Not only is the image fab but the layout and embellishments too. It is an elegant and stunning creation. I loved the frame too.

          2.  Debbs

This card was beautifully created and I loved all the yummy layers and the fab bow!
         3.    Tracey Mo

So cute and of course I couldn't resist the 'pink'.....so girly!

Well done Linby.  Please get in touch with your details using the email address in the side bar so that Wynn can forward on your prize.  Please note it is a new email address.  Also don't forget, together with Debbs and Tracey Mo, to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
As we said at the top Jocelyn has chosen the new challenge and what a corker.  It certainly had the team thinking and here are the results:

We look forward to seeing some ‘Hot’ creations and don’t forget that there is a prize for the winner.

Also, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer and the team may not visit to comment.

CD Sunday - Let’s shape it up – chosen by Margaret

Good Morning .  According to the forecasts we are heading for another warmish spell - very appropriate for the  announcement of Meg’s Top 3 choice for her challenge ‘Summer Vacation’. So before we go on to talk about the new challenge here is what Meg said about her choices:

"Thank you to those who entered my first Challenge here at CD Sunday, it was very difficult to choose a Top 3 as there was something about every entry that appealed to me. However I had to choose and here are my choices."
    1.    No: 2 - Jane
Love the layout and the fun family scene

          2.  No: 5 - Debbs
This image reminds me of  holidays spent lazing around reading Enid Blyton books, I can't explain why but that's what popped into my head when I saw the card.

        3.    No: 1 - Linby

Love the summer colours and the beautiful scene.

Well done Jane.  Please get in touch with your details using the email address in the side bar so that Meg can forward on your prize.  Please note it is a new email address.  Also don't forget, together with Debbs and Linby, to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
Thank you to those who entered Wynn's  challenge of ‘Fab ‘n’ Feminine’ and Wynn will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3 choice.

Our new Teamie Margaret has chosen the challenge for the next two weeks – ‘Let’s shape it up’.  Our new team members are bringing new and fresh ideas and Margaret’s choice was welcomed with joy by Wynn,  who loves nothing better than a shaped card,  and by me who wanted to know if square was a shape.  Anyway I think the team has done her proud and here are their ideas for you to peruse.

We look forward to seeing some wonderful creations - all shapes and sizes -  and don't forget there is always a prize to be won.

CD Sunday - Fab 'n' Feminine - chosen by Wynn

Good morning everyone.  Before we go on to talk about challenges and prizes we have to announce that sadly we are losing Sue from our Design Team.  Sue is quite well - thank goodness – it is because there is a lot of personal stuff going on in her life at the moment including some home improvements that necessitate the boxing up of crafting goodies.  I have a sneaky feeling that Sue kindly waited until our new team members were up to speed.  We are hoping that when everything is sorted out that Sue may come back and in  the meantime we are going to miss her and we all wish her well.

Thank you to those who entered Meg’s challenge of ‘Summer Vacation’ and she will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3.
In the meantime here is my own Top 3 for ‘Once upon a time’ –

1. No: 7 Debbs

A beautifully made book card - just right for a 'Once upon a time' story. Any little one this was given to would want to keep it. I know I would have done.

 2. No: 3 Marina

This is so simple yet dramatic. I can imagine the Knight dashing off to rescue his Princess.

  3. No: 6 Seafield Jo
One of the first 'Once upon a time' stories that we remember from our childhood and beautifully presented.

Thank you to those who entered
Well done Debbs.  Please get in touch with your details using the email address in the side bar so that I can forward on your prize.  Also don't forget, together with Marina and Jo, to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
As it says at the top it is Wynn’s choice of theme for the next 2 weeks and she has chosen ‘Fab ’n’ Feminine. Now there should be plenty of scope for some wonderful creations  and here are the creations by the Design Team to give you some ideas:

Meg
