CD Sunday - 'Things with Wheels' - chosen by Carol

Good Morning.  I hope there are no more storms where you are.  I do prepare this posting in advance so I can’t always be totally up to date with the news.  I do know that on Thursday night I actually switched off my computer when the storm started to rage.
Thank you to you all for supporting Pauline with her first challenge of ‘Shades of Autumn’.  Welcome also to some newcomers. We hope you will find our challenges a ‘challenge’ and continue to visit us.  As regulars will know Pauline will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3 choice.
Meanwhile Jocelyn is here with her Top 3 for her ‘Hot Hot  Hot’ challenge.

There were some lovely entries for this challenge and here are my Top 3

    1.  Jane
Jane - with this extremely hot card. I love the scorched effect to the paper edges, a great idea.

          2.  Dawn

Dawn. I love this cheeky card. The characters both look like their cheeks are red hot lol!

        3.     Linby
Linby. A different type of Hot. This is lovely and very clever the way it stands right out from the card.

Well done Jane. Please contact us with your details to claim your prize (email address in the side bar) and together with Dawn and Linby  grab the appropriate banners – also from the side bar.
Now to this challenge – chosen by moi
I hope there will be plenty of wheels for you to choose from and I and the team are looking forward to some serious Blog hopping.  Here are the offerings from the team with which we hope to inspire you:

We are looking forward to seeing many types and any number of wheels – as long as something in your creation comes from a CD.   Even 3 wheels on your wagon will be acceptable. (showing my age now).   Please link to your post and not to your Blog.
Pauline will be back next time with her Top 3.
Please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer.
Have fun.

CD Sunday –‘Shades of Autumn’

Good Morning.  We are certainly doing a bit of season hopping as we are going from 'Hot Hot Hot' (Summer?) to Autumn  with ‘Shades of Autumn’ -  our new theme chosen by Pauline.  This is Pauline’s first choice since joining the team and we hope you are all going to support her.

Before we talk more about that we must thank you for your entries into Jocelyn’s ‘Hot Hot  Hot’.  Jocelyn will be back with her choices in a couple of weeks – but now here is Margaret with her Top 3 choice for ‘Let’s Shape it Up’.

          1. D.J.Crafter (Debbs)
I really love this card,  the work that went into it,  the design and the shape, brilliant card I loved it the minute I saw it.

          2.  Laney (Laney’s Place)

I like this card, its bright colourful and an unusual shape,  the image is beautiful.

          3. Jane  (Onions and Paper)
I thought is was a nice shape and unusual,  something different and also thank you for the link you gave us all on how to make this new shape card.  Something different for Christmas rather than the usual shapes.

Well done Debbs. Please contact us with your details to claim your prize  and together with Laney and Jane grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.

Now I wanted to find out exactly when Autumn begins so I Googled – of course.  Quite a bit later - with my head going round and round - as there are dates for Meteorological and dates for Astronomical etc., etc.,  – I decided I would go for the Meteorological date and settle for 1st September.  But I did find this that I thought you might like to see.

Here now are the interpretations by the team of Pauline’s  challenge and there are some different ideas amongst them to
    inspire you.

We are looking forward to seeing many different ‘Shades’ and please don’t forget there is a prize to be won.

Please link to your post and not to your Blog.
Also, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer and the team may not visit to comment.

CD Sunday - HOT HOT HOT - chosen by Jocelyn

Good Morning everyone.  We’ve had a Summer Vacation challenge so far to celebrate the warmer weather but we are now turning up the heat with Jocelyn’s choice of 'HOT' 'HOT' 'HOT'.  Just on  a personal note here I must say that I think the team have come up with some beauties to inspire you all.
Before we show those creations thank you to all who entered Margaret’s ‘Let’s Shape it up’ challenge.  Margaret's  first challenge as a team member and thank you for the great support you have given her.   (Top 3 announcement in a couple of weeks).
Now here is the current Top 3 from Wynn who had Fab ’n’ Feminine as her challenge.

"Well what a lovely set of Fab 'an' Feminine cards you created. It's been difficult choosing my Top Three but here goes".

    1.  Linby
There were two cards on Linby's blog but it's her top one that ticks all the boxes for this challenge. Not only is the image fab but the layout and embellishments too. It is an elegant and stunning creation. I loved the frame too.

          2.  Debbs

This card was beautifully created and I loved all the yummy layers and the fab bow!
         3.    Tracey Mo

So cute and of course I couldn't resist the 'pink'.....so girly!

Well done Linby.  Please get in touch with your details using the email address in the side bar so that Wynn can forward on your prize.  Please note it is a new email address.  Also don't forget, together with Debbs and Tracey Mo, to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
As we said at the top Jocelyn has chosen the new challenge and what a corker.  It certainly had the team thinking and here are the results:
