CD Sunday -' Make it Male' - chosen by Carol

Firstly we would like to say that we hope all are well and not too badly affected by the weather and secondly tell you that our two MIA teamies are slowly recovering and Jane (from Onions and Paper) is doing a great job helping us out until we are back up to strength.  Thank you Jane.
Jocelyn has managed though to choose her Top 3 for her challenge – ‘Twas the night before Christmas’ - and here it is and we hope you will excuse Jocelyn for feeling too rough to say anymore than that they were all great cards.
 1st – Eve

2nd – Linby
3rd – Kanda

Well done Eve. Please drop us a line to claim your prize and together with Linby and Kanda grab the appropriate banner from the side bar. Please give Jocelyn a little extra time Eve to get her prize out to you.
Thank you to all those who entered Pauline’s challenge of ‘Something New’ and Pauline will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3 choice.
Now this challenge is one of mine – ‘Make it Male’. An opportunity to add to the store cupboard if you haven’t already got someone in mind.  Don’t forget though to use a CD somewhere and tell us which CD it was.
We will start with my card followed by our Guest designer Jane.

Here is hoping that our team will be at full strength as soon as possible and in the meantime join in with us and have some fun.
As always, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer.
See you next time.

CD Sunday - 'Something New' - chosen by Pauline

Since we talked about our MIA team members Pamela and Jocelyn we have been overcome by an act of kindness from one of our supporters and a past Guest Designer Jane Willis of ‘Onions and Paper’. Jane offered to add to our commenting but we seized the opportunity to have her as a GD again. This was all done by email yesterday and Jane has come up trumps and I have just received a copy of a card that she has made for this current challenge. Thank you so much Jane.  Jane’s card is just below Pauline's.
A wonderful challenge choice for the beginning of a new year but before we show you our ideas and announce the  Top Three in our last challenge we have a couple of other things to  mention.
Firstly we are two team members short at the moment. Pamela’s husband has been very poorly over the Christmas period – indeed since before Christmas -  and quite rightly Pamela’s  priorities are elsewhere.
So we have no design card from Pamela and she will comment if and when she can.  We are all wishing her husband a speedy recovery.
Jocelyn has made a card for us but unfortunately is poorly at the moment so will not be commenting until later. Of course we are wishing her a speedy recovery and she still has plenty of time in which to mull over her Top Three.

Now we have Margaret’s Top Three for her challenge – ‘A White Christmas’ so without further ado:

1st – Jane (Onions and Paper)
This was was a beautiful card with a wonderful scene. The flowers around the image and the decoupage, a real Christmas scene.
2nd – Kanda

I did like this card full of Christmas charm, beautifully made and love the image. I think this is a CD I must add to my wish list
3rd – Sue-b

I did like this card. It's delightful. A real old fashioned Christmas scene beautifully designed.
Well done Jane. Please drop us a line to claim your prize and together with Kanda and Sue-b grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
Here now are the team’s interpretations of Pauline’s challenge starting with Pauline  herself:

 Jane

 Carol

Please join in and have fun.
We hope that our team will be up to full strength by the time of our next challenge and in the meantime may we wish you all a wonderful and Happy New Year.
Please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer.

CD Sunday - 'Twas the night before Christmas - chosen by Jocelyn

The first thing we at CD Sunday would like to do is to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.  This is our last challenge before Christmas so Jocelyn’s choice of theme seems even more appropriate.  Thank you all for your support this year  and we hope you will continue to support us in the year to come.
Wynn has chosen her Top 3 for her 'Sparkle and Shine' challenge and here it is:

'As usual the task of choosing the Top 3 was difficult but I finally decided that Sue had truly ticked all the boxes for this challenge'.

1st – Sue b
Fabulous sparkle and shine on this great Teenage Birthday card. The whole image just popped!! It was great to see something other than a Christmas card too for this challenge.

2nd – Jane Middleton
A very close second. I loved the layout and sparkle on the pine tree branches.

3rd - Kanda
This is an adorable image and I loved the layout of the background papers and sparkly die cut leaves and berries.

Well done Sue. Please drop us a line to claim your prize and together with Jane and Kanda grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
Thank you to those who entered  Margaret’s  ‘White Christmas’ challenge and Margaret will be here in a couple of weeks  with herTop 3 choice.
Here now are the team’s interpretations of -  'Twas the night before Christmas' - Jocelyn’s challenge starting of course with Jocelyn herself:

Meg
Please join in and have fun.  The next challenge will start on New Year’s Day and don’t forget Margaret will then let us all know who has won her challenge.
Please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer.
Wishing you very happy festivities from us all at CD Sunday -  and have fun.
