CD Sunday - Mellow Yellow - chosen by Wynn

Good Morning
Before we posted  the details about our last challenge (CAS), we reiterated some of the details concerning the CD Sunday Challenge rules.  As there was still some confusion these details will be left at the beginning of this posting so that hopefully there will be no misunderstanding.
This is a CD Challenge Blog.  This means that as well as following the theme of the challenge a CD must have been used somewhere in the making of the card or project.  It doesn’t have to be the whole card but it can be.  It can be as small as perhaps a sentiment – a paper bow or button - but there has to be CD content somewhere  together with everything else you have used. The CD must be named and credited. If you have used a digital stamp or a download or a USB that is OK as long as you have something else that is from a CD. The fact that your download or USB can also be bought as a CD doesn’t make it count as a CD. You must have used an actual CD and named the one you have used.

Thank you to those who entered Meg’s CAS Challenge. Meg will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3.

Pamela has now decided her Top 3 for ‘Let’s hear it for the boys’ and here it is from Pamela:

It was lovely to see so many entries for my theme of ‘Let's hear It for the boys’. Sadly not all of them could be considered for the prize as they either didn't include something from a CD or they didn't make it clear in their blog post that a CD was used.
1st   Kym
So many hours went into the making of this amazing project. Well done Kym - I love it!
 2nd Tip Top

This design really appealed to me - I like how it's all been put together using images from a Polkadoodle Cd.
 3rd Seafield Jo
I like how Jo has put a jersey on the back of the card as well as the front. And I love the club badge detail.

Congratulations Kym.   Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Tip Top and Seafield Jo grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.

Now to our new challenge - 'Mellow Yellow' - from Wynn and here are the teams ideas to give you inspiration.
Lead the way Wynn:

We hope you enjoy looking at the teams designs and that they will give you inspiration.  I loved all the different shades of Mellow Yellow that we managed to achieve.

Have fun …..…..but please remember about using CD’s as we have mentioned up above and please also don’t forget that if you have won a prize you have to claim it. Please include your name and address in your email
Have fun and see you next time.

CD Sunday - CAS (Clean and Simple) - chosen by Meg

Good Morning
Before we talk about the last two challenges and the new one starting today the team wish to remind everyone that this is a CD Challenge Blog.  This means that as well as following the theme of the challenge a CD must have been used somewhere in the making of the card or project.  It doesn’t have to be the whole card but it can be.  It can be as small as perhaps a sentiment – a paper bow or a button - but there has to be CD content somewhere  together with everything else you have used. The CD must be named and credited. If you have used a digital stamp or a download or a USB that is OK as long as you have something else that is from a CD. The fact that your download or USB can also be bought as a CD doesn’t make it count as a CD. You must have used an actual CD and named the one you have used.

Now to the challenges.  Meg has chosen  ‘CAS’ for our next challenge. We know that quite a few of you like CAS themes so we are hoping for many entries.  The theme is of your choosing – just remember the CD part. We will show you the team's ideas in a moment.

Thank you for entering  Pamela’s  ‘Let’s hear it for the boys’  challenge.  Some great cards and Pamela will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3.

Here is Jane’s Top 3 for her ‘Past Times’ challenge

1st   Eve

I love everything about this card - the layout, the clean lines, the colours and the way the embellishments are finished with glossy accents.

2nd Linby

The black and gold die cuts look amazing against the atmospheric background
3rd Pauline
I love the pocket and tags, and the fact that Pauline has used the same CD as Eve yet in a very different way.

Congratulations Eve.  Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Linby and Pauline grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.

Now here are the ideas by the team for ‘CAS’  starting of course with Meg
Meg
 Wynn

We hope you have enjoyed looking at the teams designs and that they have given you some ideas and inspiration. Have fun but ....... please remember all we have said about using CD’s and please also don’t forget that if you have won a prize you have to claim it and remember to include your name and address in your email.
Have fun and see you next time.

CD Sunday - 'Let's hear it for the boys' - chosen by Pamela

Good Morning everyone
Firstly thank you for entering Jane’s challenge ‘Past Times’ and Jane will be back in a couple of weeks with her Top 3 choice.
Secondly I have now chosen the Top 3 for my challenge ‘Anything goes’. You really did give me a challenge as it wasn’t easy but I have chosen and here they are:

1st   No:11   Crafty

I chose this one because everything about is appealing. Lovely colours and beautifully made,
 2nd No:10    Sue T
This is such a fantastic image and again a beautifully made card.

3rd No: 9   Traceymo

Everything about this card is unusual and eyecatching. I can't really choose any one thing - just that it has to be one of my Top 3.

Congratulations Crafty  . Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Sue and Traceymo grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.

And thirdly here are the ideas by the team for ‘Let’s hear it for the boys’  - starting of course with Pamela

We hope you enjoy looking at the teams designs and that they will give you oodles of  inspiration. Speaking personally I think they are great and show such variety.  Have fun and …..
as always, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a named CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer. And whilst talking of prizes – please note that the last of our very few rules states that the prize winner must claim the prize. We do put the current prize winner at the top of the Blog on each challenge so that it can be seen.  If it is not claimed it can’t be given.
See you next time.
