Wendy was often in pain and crafting kept her going, she had a style all of her own and was a great team player so as you can imagine we all miss her, so please join us to make this challenge really special.
Wendy was known to most of you by her crafty name of Purple Crazy so what else could we call her challenge? Wendy loved the colour purple and most of her designs featured the colour in one form or another so in her honour we want you to produce a card or project incorporating the colour purple.
As this is a special challenge we are being sponsored by Nikky from Polkadoodles who has offered us a full download of the Work and Play 9 - Love and Kisses Collection, I have a couple of cd's one is another Polkadoodles - Double Sprinkles of Kraft and the other is a projects and techniques cd from Ali Reeve. Carol has three stamp sets, two Gruffies and one House Mouse and also a cd from La Pashe - Behind Closed Doors pop up cards. So phew that's a bundle worth winning and it's an easy challenge to enter too.
We will also have a CD from Ooh-la-la-creations for a prize
The challenge will run for a month so lots of time to plan your design and our normal challenges will be running at the same time so keep checking the pages and join in with all of them if you can.
Click here for the current challenge of Curious cats which will run until Sunday 17th May when we will be setting you a new one.
For this challenge the team will be choosing the winner and as we all have very different styles it will be fun for us too, I can see a bit of debating going on at the end of this one!
Here's a bit of inspiration for you and I'll be back mid challenge with more to keep you going.

The usual rules apply to this challenge, you must use something from a cd but you can make anything you want to make, but do please give credit to the cd you use and link back to this page with your entry.
I'll be back during the challenge with a bit more inspiration for you so keep checking back if you can and you never know we may even be adding more bits to the prize!
I'm so pleased to see this challenge - how really wonderful to do this in memory of Purple Crazy and you can tell the team have really put their heart and soul into their samples for this. Great work.

What a wonderful way to remember a lovely lady. A loved Wendy's cards. I'm glad you've extended the challenge to a month - I hope to be able to join in in honour of Wendy. At the moment I've had my fill of purple as I've been making gift bags for a wedding and the bride's colours are Cadbury's purple and ivory. Last night I declared I didn't want to see purple for quite sometime but I'll make an exception for Wendy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing to do in Wendy's memory. I will try really hard to get my entry in.
