CD Sunday - 'A Cool Yule' - chosen by Sue

Sadly for our challenge - ‘Colours of Autumn’ - our teamies outnumbered our challengers but a big thank you to those who did enter.  Perhaps everyone has been busy with Christmas cards and Christmas projects and will return to us when the festivities are over or just feel that they can’t peel another vegetable or hang another bauble and have to escape to the craft room.  Jocelyn will let us know who has won the prize in a couple of weeks.  Please don’t forget that we do award a prize to the No: 1 in the Top 3
Before we go on with other news here is Wynn’s Top 3 choice and in her own words - for her challenge – ‘Sprinkling of Snowflakes’.
1st – Laine

Loved everything about this. The great fold.....I'm a sucker for a different fold guys.....the beautiful blue snowflake DP, the addition of the snowflake border punch and the snowflake die. This just ticked all the boxes for the theme.
 2nd -  Pamela
This was very inspirational. It was such a great idea to use snowflakes as the main feature.....clever crafter.
3rd – Cazro

This was a great image. It made me shiver just looking at it.....all that ice and snow. Those poor robins think they were going skating not trying to get a drink!!

Well done Laine.  Please get in touch with your details using the email address in the side bar so that Wynn can forward on your prize. Please don’t forget that Wynn lives in Cyprus so the postal service will be a little slower especially at this time of the year.
Jocelyn will be back with her own Top 3 choice next time.

Now we would like to welcome our two new Guest Designers – Jane and Shaz.  Like Pauline and Meg - Jane and Shaz have been great supporters of CD Sunday - and we are honoured that they will be with us for the next three months.

Here are the Team’s ideas on Sue’s ‘A Cool Yule’ challenge starting as always with our Guest Designers

 Jane

We hope that you will join in with us and please link to your post and not to your Blog.    Please, please use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for any prize on offer and the team will not visit to comment.
Now please spin those CD’s, have fun and join in with us.

The CD Sunday Team and Guest Designers wish all our followers a very very Happy Christmas and we will see you just before the New Year as we will be back in two weeks with a new challenge and Jocelyn will have chosen her ‘’Colours of Autumn’ Top 3.

  7. Thanks for a great challenge! The DT cards are lovely (that top one made me smile!). I hope my entry counts. It was taken from a Christmas CD, but I made it into a friendship card. Still, there's a reindeer, so that's pretty Christmasy, right?

  8. Hi Carrie. As long as there is something from a CD used then you are fine. Thank you for joining in.

  9. I've made 3 cards and an ATC that I think fits this theme. Good to see a few more people entering this time.
