----------------------------------------------
Well hello there, and another good Sunday morning to you all, yes I know it's hard to believe but another week has gone and you've run out of time so it's onto the next challenge.
Last week you pulled out all the stops and gave us some fabulous stuff to look at, I am glad I'm not Tess who has promised us that as it is her last week with us she will choose the top three this time.

This week as it is the 1st Sunday of the month we are sponsored and boy have we got something a little bit special for you, this week we are being sponsored by the lovely Sue from Creative Expressions, now as this company is a wholesale company I cannot give you a link so you can all go and purchase lots of goodies but I will give you a link to Sue's web page so you can go and gaze in awe at her beautiful creations. You will find her here

OK now you've been over and had a look at Sue's blog it is your turn to get those cd's out and sort us something special to look at, yes I know after looking at the wonderful stuff Sue does you all think that you wish you were that creative, well let me tell you that you are!

Last week we saw the last card done by our guest Hazel and judging by the comments we have had you have enjoyed the things she did for us, this week we have another special guest to introduce to you and this time it's Pamela and once you have seen her work you will understand why we wanted her to be one of our guests. This is what Pamela has to say about herself:

Hi, my name is Pamela and those of you who already know will know not to shorten my name to Pam LOL! I live in South Wales with my lovely hubby and a cat called Snuggles - she's just been giving me a cuddle as I'm not very well at the moment.

I started cardmaking on 01 January 2005. Why such a precise date? My mother passed away in 2004 and I became so stressed I decided I needed a hobby to help me relax. I worked with someone who made cards and she gave me some of her stash to get me started and introduced me to craft shopping TV. At the time I was doing a distance learning course and had to focus on finishing that. So I slowly built up my crafting stash and when the course finished at the end of December 2004 I was able to start my new hobby.
Through my hobby I discovered forums and have made friends with some lovely fellow crafters, a few of whom I've met. Crafting has taken a back seat over the last 2 years due to family commitments but it's now firmly back in my life and I'm really enjoying it again. Craft CDs play a big part in my cardmaking (a cd was the first item I bought), I have 35 that are just Christmas, so I was really pleased when this CD Sunday blog was started and I have made it my mission to spread the word about it.

One other bit of news last week was that our beloved Tess was standing down and hopefully she will be joining you on the other side of the fence in the future, well we had to have a replacement and to be fair to fill such great shoes we had to have someone a little bit special so we have gone with Jocelyn, believe me  she is more than competant to be in the team and as I just adore what she does we don't need any further recommendation.

Here is what she told us about herself when she was our guest in June:

I live by the sea in East Sussex with my husband and three spoilt rotten cats.
I have always crafted in one form or another from an early age. One of my early memories is sitting with my Dad while he dismantled the wheels from a small ornamental plastic wheelbarrow my Mother had on the dining room table so that we could use it as a template to draw around.
I learnt to knit and embroider as a child and loved it. As I grew older and friends started to have their families I knitted for them all. Eventually I was all knitted out and needed to find another creative outlet. This came in the form of cross stitch. During this time I also traced my family tree back to 1643. I incorporated my two hobbies and cross stitched my family tree. The walls of our home are now liberally scattered with my cross stitching.
When I developed repetitive strain injury while working in London as a legal secretary I had to give up cross stitch as I couldn’t hold the needle very easily. Not having anything to create made me fidgety but fortunately card making and paper craft came to my rescue. It is well over ten years ago now that I first decided to have a go and I love it. I’ve also met so many lovely friends through this wonderful hobby.

OK now onto this weeks challenge and as we are being sponsored as usual we have a prize on offer, well to be honest when Sue sent us the prize we thought it would be better if we split it, so, this week the prize will be stamp sheets with a theme of Christmas, Sue has given us 4 sheets of stamps so we have decided that the winner of the draw will get two sheets of stamps, the runner up will get one and the winner of the top three will get one too. So this week we have plenty of prizes so even more reasons for you to enter.

Phew this is one long post so thanks for staying with me, now at long last we are onto the cards done by the design team to give you a push in the right direction, as usual we will start with our guest.

  7. Mr Blogger is being horrible to me this week - he hasn't been letting me comment on any blogs. Finally he's given in today and let me post on most of your blogs. Most but not all - there's about 4 that I still can't post on. I think these may be blogs that have word verification on them.
    So if I haven't left a comment then I apologise - I have tried!
    Good luck in the draw.

  9. Well I'm winning the battle against naughty Mr Blogger. I've now been able to leave a comment on all but one of your blogs. So craftinggill don't think I've left you out - it's Mr Blogger's fault. And I so wanted to comment on your card as it's brill!
