CD Sunday - Vintage Vogue

Good morning to everyone and hopefully you haven't been hit by snow and it stays that way.
It's gone so very cold here and everyone is wrapped up well when they go past the house, I do hope spring comes early as I feel quite fed up when it's cold and dark all the time.

Anyway onto brighter things in the form of last weeks challenge, not so many entries but those that we did have were all stunning, so thank you for joining us and sharing your ideas.  As you know we have a cd to give away this week courtesy of Sarah at Peerless Designs, I'm glad it was a random draw as I wouldn't want to choose a winner and after putting the numbers into Random.org it came up with a winner and the winning is Number 8 - Mistys Mum so drop us a line and claim your prize.  Just so you know, we don't keep addresses so even if you've won before you will need to make a claim.

This weeks challenge was chosen by me and I am so pleased to see the design teams creations and I know you will love them too, our guest Sue is still with us and she has come up with a superb card to start us off.

  2. Lovely cards as usual ladies. I am a bit confused- what does Vogue mean? is it to do with the magazine? Is it just vintage ladies or can it be vintage anything? Hope you can shed some light. Tess x

  4. Lovely challenge, I cocked up last weeks challenge I did Art Deco by mistake so could not enter the card, but since then we have had a family bereavement so I am sorry I won't be doing this weeks but I will be back when everything's back to normal.
There are some lovely cards this week. Well done ladies

  5. Hi
I did do a card for last week but forgot to post it!!
So for this card I used the lovely Ohh La La Yesterday's Memories
I used the basket weave backing paper as well as the off set large pieced pyramage image - the corners were punched on the backing paper and I used a punch on the sides of the mat used for the image
Even the ribbons were pale and looked from different era...gems and pearls finished my card.
I do hope this fits into Vogue and look forward to future challenges!
