Before getting down to the business of Top threes and new themes here is a gentle reminder to our challengers of our rules. There are very few – in fact just 6 - but sometimes in the excitement of entering several challenges it is easy to forget them. Our first and most important rule is that a CD must have been used somewhere in the making. That includes the use of graphic programmes that were purchased on CD’s – like Serif, Docraft and My Craft Studio etc., and digital drawings that are on a CD in your possession as well as all the usual backing papers and images. After all that is what we are all about. The second equally important rule is to state which CD was used. The remaining 4 rules are those that are common to most other challenge blogs.
Thank you for all the great entries to Sue’s ‘Add a button’ challenge and I think it will take her a while to choose her Top 3 but whilst she is doing that here is Jocelyn’s Top 3 for her theme of ‘Seasons’.
It was lovely to see so many different 'seasons' for this challenge so thank you to everyone who joined in.
1. Lynn
I like this as it is a different approach to the theme of seasons and one I remember from my childhood when my Dad used to play cricket. |
2. Kanda
Who could resist those little mice. I thought it was very clever the way the blossom is extended using the die cuts. |
3. Meg
Hopefully spring is not too far away and in the meantime there is this lovely image to remind us of sunny days to come. |
Well done Lynn. Please get in touch with your details using
the email address in the side bar so that Jocelyn can forward on your prize.
Before we get to my choice of theme for the next two weeks the
CD Sunday team would like to thank our Guest Designers Jane and Shaz for their
wonderful contributions to our Blog over the last 3 months.
We have so enjoyed showing off their work. And a second thank
you of course to Pauline and Meg who were with us the previous three months.
Thank you Ladies.
It seems appropriate then that my theme choice is ‘Thank You’.
We all need these cards in our ‘here’s one I made earlier’ boxes. We will start with our Guest Designers as
always - sadly with their last contribution:
We hope that you will join in with us, have fun, and don’t
forget there is a prize to be won. Please
link to your post and not to your Blog.
Please, don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however
small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries
that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be
considered for the prize on offer and the team will not visit to comment.
We will be back in a couple of weeks with another new
challenge and Sue will have chosen her Top three for ‘Add a button’.
