Design Team call. If you feel that you have the interest and the commitment and would like to join us at CD Sunday please contact us via our email address. There is no need to include a special piece of your work – just make sure that you give us a link to your Blog and then we can look at your work. Apart from, of course, the must do of using CD’s please note that each member of the team chooses a challenge in rotation, then theTop 3 of that challenge, and finally supplies a small prize for the winner.
Now to the rest of the posting as it was last week.
Wow – thank you for your support of our 6th Birthday
Celebrations and all the lovely things you have said about the Blog. It is going to take a little time to choose
our prize winners so please bear with us and we will make announcements as soon
as possible.
We really do have a lot to talk about this time so I will get on
quickly and to start with we have two lots of Top 3’s to announce. I hope in the Birthday excitement you
hadn’t forgotten you had entered the challenges.

First is for Jocelyn’s challenge ‘All Creatures Great and
Small’.
Here is what Jocelyn said and her Top 3 -
We had a lovely lot of entries for my challenge for 'All
Creatures Great and Small' which made the job of choosing my Top 3 very
difficult but here they are:
1st – No: 8 - Janice
I liked this card because it is stylish and a bit different with the addition of lace to embellish. |
2nd – No: 16 – Lynn
This is a fun card which is sure to make the recipient smile. |
3rd – No: 20 – Shaz
This is a great layout and I love the colour tones. I'm a big House Mouse fan too. |
Second is for Sue’s challenge ‘Get well Wishes’
Here is what Sue said and her Top 3 -
I loved all the entrants which certainly my choosing harder. Thank you everyone.
1st – No: 8 – Tip
Top
I do like the papers and layout , think the image is humorous and bound to cheer you up. |
2nd – No: 2 -
Sue T
Flowers are always welcome and they don't come much prettier than these |
3rd – No: 13 – Jo
Thought this quite clever to use the embossed papers for the sea and sand. |
Well done to Janice and Tip Top. Would you both please contact
us using the email address in the side bar to claim your prizes and then all of
you take the appropriate banner for your Blog.

We hope that you will join in with us, have fun, and don’t
forget there is a prize to be won. Please link to your post and not to your
Blog.
Please, please don’t forget to use something from a
CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the
CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to
see, will not be considered for the prize on offer and the team will not visit
to comment.
Please don’t forget the DT call. We look forward to hearing from you.
Have fun
Carol

Thanks guys, off to email now, Jx
ReplyDeleteThank you for the challenge. Lovely work by the design team. I have chosen the song Follow that Dream from the movie by the same name starring Elvis Presley.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a challenge, even if I am a bit of a movie dunce. I was soooo tempted to go down the obvious La Pashe route but my subconscious came up with a completely different idea

Great DT samples ladies & a fun challenge! Hope my card is allowed, I used a song from a Levi's Advert! If it's not okay please feel free to delete!
