CD Sunday - 'Something New' - chosen by Pauline

Since we talked about our MIA team members Pamela and Jocelyn we have been overcome by an act of kindness from one of our supporters and a past Guest Designer Jane Willis of ‘Onions and Paper’. Jane offered to add to our commenting but we seized the opportunity to have her as a GD again. This was all done by email yesterday and Jane has come up trumps and I have just received a copy of a card that she has made for this current challenge. Thank you so much Jane.  Jane’s card is just below Pauline's.
A wonderful challenge choice for the beginning of a new year but before we show you our ideas and announce the  Top Three in our last challenge we have a couple of other things to  mention.
Firstly we are two team members short at the moment. Pamela’s husband has been very poorly over the Christmas period – indeed since before Christmas -  and quite rightly Pamela’s  priorities are elsewhere.
So we have no design card from Pamela and she will comment if and when she can.  We are all wishing her husband a speedy recovery.
Jocelyn has made a card for us but unfortunately is poorly at the moment so will not be commenting until later. Of course we are wishing her a speedy recovery and she still has plenty of time in which to mull over her Top Three.

Now we have Margaret’s Top Three for her challenge – ‘A White Christmas’ so without further ado:

1st – Jane (Onions and Paper)
This was was a beautiful card with a wonderful scene. The flowers around the image and the decoupage, a real Christmas scene.
2nd – Kanda

I did like this card full of Christmas charm, beautifully made and love the image. I think this is a CD I must add to my wish list
3rd – Sue-b

I did like this card. It's delightful. A real old fashioned Christmas scene beautifully designed.
Well done Jane. Please drop us a line to claim your prize and together with Kanda and Sue-b grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.
Here now are the team’s interpretations of Pauline’s challenge starting with Pauline  herself:

 Jane

 Carol

Please join in and have fun.
We hope that our team will be up to full strength by the time of our next challenge and in the meantime may we wish you all a wonderful and Happy New Year.
Please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer.
Carol xx
