......... and second what an exciting morning for CD Sunday team
members and followers as we are proud to announce our new Design Team members
who are - in alphabetical order –
Margaret, Meg, Pamela and Pauline. We
are so delighted to welcome such talent to our team and we are sure you will
give them a warm welcome and your support.
We have to give them a little time to settle in so it will be the next
challenge before they dip their toes in the water with their first team
samples.
As we have such a lot going on this week we have decided to
give you two bios this challenge and two on the next so here are bios for
Margaret and Meg.
Margaret says about herself:
My name is Margaret. I am now semi-retired, married, a
grandmother and great grandmother, living in Somerset. We love
to travel and there's not much of Europe left to see. I do various
crafts from knitting, tatting and of course card making. I do incorporate
them together at times. I am delighted to be joining the CD Sunday
Challenge DT team.
And Meg says:
Hi Meg here,
I live in a beautiful part of North - East Scotland with hubby and our younger
son - retiring 5 years ago after working in the NHS for 38 years.
I have
crafted in one form or another since I was about 7 years old, my mother taught
me to knit, to crochet, to sew and then dressmaking.
Retirement
has given me the time to indulge in gardening and paper crafting. I
still knit and crochet but card making has become addictive. I especially
love CD's - there are so many images and papers to choose from. I
am delighted to be a new member of the CD Sunday team and thank them for this
opportunity.
We will hear more about Pamela and Pauline next time.
Now we have a Top 3 to announce and it is for my choice of
Challenge ‘Songs from the Movies’.
Quite a mixture of songs. Some better known than others but all
such great cards. Thank you for a super selection from which to choose. And two of our new team members did not know that I
had chosen their cards for 2nd and 3rd places – but they do now.
Here is my Top 3:
1.
No: 7 Seafield Jo
I loved the moodiness of this card which has been put together in such a striking way. |
2.
No: 13
Pauline
I could hear the first few bars of the music as soon as I looked at the card. Just a beautiful card. |
3.
No: 11
Pamela
These cats are so cute. I don't know the CD but these papers look great. Love the pitty pat paws background.
Well done
Jo. Please get in touch with your
details using the email address in the side bar so that I can forward on your
prize. Also don't forget, together with Pauline and Pamela , to grab the
appropriate banner from the side bar.
Now for
these next two weeks Jocelyn is asking you to get colourful with her theme
‘Let’s go Lilac’. A popular colour we
know so we are expecting a good selection for Jocelyn to pore over.
Here are the
ideas from the current team (our new team members will be showing off their
skills next time).
Verity Rose from Crafter's Companion |
ATC's made using House Mouse and Gruffies CD's |
CD Ooh La La 'Teentastique' |
YEP - they are definately Lilac.
We hope that you will join in with us, have fun, and don’t
forget there is a prize to be won. Please link to your post and not to your
Blog. Please,
don’t forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making
of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the
use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on
offer and the team may not visit to comment.
