Good Morning and what another exciting morning for CD Sunday as our new
teamies are joining us on the front line, and we have eight super samples to
show you what you can do with this interesting theme - thought up by Sue.
Before we do that though, we must allow Wynn to announce her
Top 3. for her ‘Something beginning with ‘B’ challenge. Wow – didn’t Wynn have a lot from which to
choose. Thank you all for your tremendous support.
Thank you for all your wonderful entries. So many - thus making it really tough to choose my
Winner and Top 3. I hope you like my choice.

Well done Monica. Please get in touch with your details using
the email address in the side bar so that Wynn can forward on your prize.
Also don't forget, together with Marina and Tip Top, to grab the appropriate
banner from the side bar.
Before we
talk about Sue’s challenge we have two more bio’s from our new team members - Pauline and Pamela and here they are:
Firstly Pauline
Hi, my name
is Pauline and I live in Hampshire with my wonderful husband and two gorgeous
sons.
My husband
gave me a card making book for Christmas one year and my obsession was
born. I have been making cards for about six years now. I also
enjoy making jewellery, home furnishings
and gardening.
I created my
blog Crafting with Cotnob to
share my love of crafting and have never looked back. I have made lots of
wonderful friends and joined several fabulous Design Teams. More recently
I have started designing for a few Papercraft Magazines - so now I get paid to do what I enjoy -
it doesn't get much better than that!
I am really
excited to be joining the CD Sunday Design Team because CD Sunday was one of
the first challenges that I entered and CD crafting is my first love.
*********************************
And now let’s
hear from Pamela
'I live in
South Wales with my husband of 37 years. I work 4 days a week as an
Administrator in a seaside town called Porthcawl. Working near the sea is great
when the weather is sunny but in the winter we can see the waves crashing over
the road! I started card making in 2005
and the first item I bought was a craft CD rom by Chris Warner - I now have
more CD’s than I'd care to admit! I now
'dabble' in other card making crafts such as quilling, tea bag folding, iris
folding and parchment. I also like to crochet, knit and do other paper
crafts like make bunting or paper flowers. I buy loads of craft
magazines and use them as inspiration but adapt the ideas to fit with what I
have in my stash. Currently I'm really enjoying crafting after a couple of
months where I didn't feel like making anything. I'm looking forward to being on the Design
Team for CD Sunday after following the blog from the third week.'
Now for
these next two weeks Sue is telling you that you can’t use any images or photos
in her theme of the same name. Now don’t
gulp – just because we all did. We have
samples here to prove that this challenge will be no problem to you – as it
wasn’t to us. You can use all the things that we have used – just no images or
photos. Don’t forget your CD’s though.
Here are the
ideas from the whole CD Sunday team:
We hope that you will join in with us and have some fun and
don’t forget there is a prize to be won.
Please link to your post and not to your Blog.
Also, please do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer and the team may not visit to comment.
